Catching up

I've fallen way behind on posting blog updates, and I've set a goal to be up-to-date by May 1. We've had a whirlwind of activity at the Orange House -- visits from friends, Grammylou, Pops and Granbee, early rollovers, evening strolls and thousands of pictures (though we'll just post a few.) So... be sure to check in later for back-posts.

In the meantime, pictures of Harper from this past weekend are below...

Granbee's Easter visit

Harper's Granbee came from Florida to meet her first granddaughter and help Harper celebrate her first Easter. It was a short, but good weekend full of activities including visits to the Dallas Arboretum and Nasher Sculpture Center. Harper really interacted with her Granbee, which made it a fun visit!

our first baby-free date

Grammylou and Pops came to visit this weekend so they could care for Harper while Robin and I enjoyed our first baby-free dinner date -- what a treat! Though it got off to an emotional start (I missed my little girl and cried a bit when we drove up to the restaurant), it was really nice to savor a romantic and leisurely dinner with just the two of us. Thank you, Grammylou and Pops!

(I can't believe we didn't take any pictures the entire weekend! Grammylou, I know you took some. Please send me a couple so I can add them to this post. Thanks!)
